Halloween Gadgets
If you like Halloween and gadgets, then you’re going to love the Halloween props hitting stores this year. Want to add some ghosts to your front yard? This lighted projector box at Hammacher Schlemmer lets you project images of Halloween ghosts, witches and bats on the front of your house. It also includes everything you need to project images for other popular holidays.
Here are some more of my favorite electronic Halloween decorations for 2008:
Fog machines and some faux gravestones are the best way to add a creepy touch to your Halloween party. But for a more whimsical touch, you should check out this bubble fogger at GrandinRoad. It blasts bubbles that release a little puff of fog when they burst, and you can use it in the house or in the yard.
Some lighted Halloween props have audio features too. This screaming reaper tombstone is 21 inches tall, and will haunt your yard with terrifying screams.
Remember that neighbor kid who keeps tromping through your flowers on his way to school? Animated Halloween props like this remote control tarantula will give him a scare he won’t soon forget! The remote control spider, available at Prezzybox, has light-up eyes and a realistic furry texture to add to the scare factor.
And, don’t forget about glow in the dark Halloween decorations for Trick-or-Treat night! Classic Halloween props like this glow in the dark skull will add that finishing touch to your Halloween party. Put it in a tree in your yard, or better yet, hide it in a dark bathroom for one of your guests to find.
