Digital Photo to DVD Converter

If you’re like me, you’ve got a digital camera and multiple SD cards, each full of 900 digital photos, waiting to go somewhere–but where?  Here’s a cool gadget for getting all those digital pictures on to DVDs that you can play and enjoy.

The Digital Photo to DVD Converter takes the files from your digital camera memory card and transfers them to CDs.  You can choose to save the files as JPGs or in a DVD slideshow format.  The converter works without a computer, but you can also use it with your computer as an external CD burner.  It also comes with the necessary cables for hooking up directly to your television.  The converter accepts several types of photo storage devices, including compact flash, smart media, memory stick, secure digital, and multi media cards.  I found the Digital Photo to DVD Converter at Hammacher Schlemmer for $199.

Digital photo album

I know that digital photo frames are all the rage right now, but I still like these little digital photo albums that you can take anywhere.  I found this one at Fresh Finds for $29.95.  Weighing in at a mere 1.6 oz. , this digital photo album comes with 2MB of storage space and holds 54 digital photos.  It’s a keychain design, which allows you to attach the it to the outside of your handbag or backpack.  The digital photo album shown above comes with a USB cable and batteries, and is compatible with XP,Vista, and Win2000.  If you’re one of those people who can’t find the right digital pictures just when someone wants to see them, this digital photo album looks like a great idea.

Kodak easyshare G610

I’ve been having lots of fun printing digital pictures with my newest gadget, the Kodak EasyShare G610 printer.  This photo printer uses a photo film cartridge rather than an inkjet cartridge to print photos that , in my opinion, are as clear as professional proccessing.  I especially like the Kodak Easy Share G610 because my Kodak digital camera docks right on top of the printer, where it charges when I’m not using it.  When I’m ready to print digital photos, I simply hit the print button and use the menu features to choose which digital pictures and how many copies to print.  The photo printer takes about 30-40 seconds to print a 4X6 photo, passing it back and forth through the printer adding layers of color.  The Kodak Easyshare G610 also allows users to select different sizes of digital photos for printing, including 2X3 and wallet sizes.  Photo cartridges for the Kodak EasyShare will print 25, 50, or 100 digital photos each, depending on the size you choose.  And, the photo printing cartridges come with the corresponding amount of digital photo paper.  This digital photo printer is perfect for parents who never seem to have time to have their film processed, scrapbookers, or those who want a simple way to print quality digital photos with no technical knowledge required.
