Kodak Zi6 HD Pocket Video Camera

If you like having quick access to a video camera wherever you go, check out this new Kodak video camera that you can easily fit in your pocket. The Kodak Zi6 HD pocket video camera captures 60 frames per second. It also has an SD card slot for expanding the up to 32 GB, and a 2.4 inch LCD screen.

The Kodak Zi6 video camera includes AV cables and HD cables for watching your videos on any high definition TV. It looks simple to operate with one button for recording and not even a lens cap to deal with, and I like the built in USB connector for easy transfers and You Tube fun. There’s also the option to capture still photos from your digital video. The Kodak Zi6 also includes 2 AA rechargeable batteries, battery charger, case, wrist strap, and photo software.

RCA video camera/dvd burner combo

Here’s a cool gadget that makes it easy to create your own dvds from digital video. RCA has combined the Small Wonders video camera with the Memory Maker DVD burner to create a combo pack. The digital video camera actually docks on top of the DVD burner, allowing you to quickly select the video you want to burn a copy of.

The Small Wonder camera features 2X zoom, one button recording, 60 minutes of video storage, and has an SD card slot. You can add your own SD card for an additional 4 hours of record time. The dvd burner/video camera combo also comes with a remote control. I like this idea because it seems very convenient for those who are stressed out by numerous cords and connections. But it’s too bad the Small Wonder is just for video…no still shots.

Waterproof video camera

Can’t seem to keep your video camera dry? The Sanyo Xacti E1 digital video camera might be just the trick. It’s a waterproof video camera that can handle being submersed in 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Using a 2GB SD card, the waterproof camera will record up to 10 hours of video or 4,000 still shots. The Xacti E1 video camera offers a 5x zoom lens,a 2.5 inch swiveling LCD monitor, and automatic image stabilization.

My favorite feature of this digital video camera is the ability to shoot still photos while filming video. Simply hit the shutter button while the video continues to roll. That means not having to choose between video and once in a lifetime photo opportunities.

The Xacti E1 digital video camera easily synchs with your PC, offering drag and drop options for moving and saving videos.
